Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At AOT, we take pride in delivering high-quality, made-to-order gear. Due to the custom nature of our products, we have a strict but fair policy in place to ensure transparency and protect both parties.

Refunds

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

• Shipping costs are non-refundable on all shipped items.

• If a product has not yet shipped and a refund is approved, shipping may be refunded.

• ALL refunds must be approved before any return is sent back.

• Unauthorized returns will not be accepted, and any items sent without prior approval may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense.

Non-Refundable / Non-Returnable Items

To maintain product integrity and due to hygiene/customization, the following CANNOT be returned or refunded under any circumstances:

• Socks and undergarments

• Helmets (all styles)

• Goggles (due to hygiene and COVID-related health standards)

• Customized gear, including:

  • Any item with a name and/or number added (before or after delivery)

  • Personalized jerseys, hoodies, or t-shirts

• Special order or custom color items (e.g., canopies, flags, tent frames)

• One-off team or individual custom designs

• Items marked “Final Sale” or “No Refunds/Exchanges” at time of purchase

• Gift cards

Once an order is placed for any of the above, it is considered final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any reason.

Returns & Exchanges

• Returns are accepted on eligible, non-customized items that are unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags/packaging.

• Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.

• Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

• Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

• Exchanges are only available for non-customized items, typically for sizing.

• A 20% restocking fee may apply to approved returns not due to factory defects.

Sizing Responsibility

AOT Racing is happy to provide sizing recommendations when requested. However, all sizing recommendations are based on the information provided by the customer and do not guarantee fit.

​

Customers are responsible for selecting the size they feel is most appropriate prior to placing an order.

​

Fit preferences vary between riders and may differ based on body type, riding style, material selection, production run, and manufacturing partner. A difference in fit preference does not constitute a factory defect, sizing error, or production issue.

​

Previous purchases do not guarantee identical fit across all future orders, as materials, manufacturing partners, and product specifications may vary over time.

​

Color & Artwork Disclaimer

AOT Racing makes every effort to accurately represent colors, artwork, and product designs. However, colors displayed on phones, tablets, and computer monitors may vary from the final printed product.

​

Minor color variations between digital images, production runs, materials, fabrics, manufacturing partners, and print processes are normal and do not constitute a factory defect.

​

Slight variations in logo placement, artwork scaling, stitching, panel alignment, and overall appearance may occur during production and are not considered manufacturing defects.

​

Customers are responsible for ensuring all information submitted with their order is accurate, including but not limited to rider names, numbers, sponsor names, spelling, grammar, sizing, and customization details. AOT Racing produces gear based on the information provided at the time of order.

​

Errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by the customer do not constitute a manufacturing defect and may require additional charges to correct.

​

For team orders and fully custom one-off designs, artwork mockups may be provided for approval prior to production. Once approved, the customer assumes responsibility for all names, numbers, logos, spelling, artwork placement, and design details shown on the approved mockup.

​

Return & Exchange Fees

• Full kit returns: 20% restocking fee

• Partial returns (individual items): 20% restocking fee on returned item

• Single-item exchanges: No fee — AOT covers remake costs

​

Because all AOT gear is made to order, these fees help offset materials, labor, and production costs.

As a courtesy, AOT Racing provides one (1) complimentary exchange per order on eligible items. Additional exchanges requested due to fit preference, sizing preference, rider growth, changes in personal preference, or similar circumstances are not guaranteed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at AOT Racing's sole discretion.

Please note that fit preference does not constitute a factory defect, sizing error, or production issue. Differences in fit between materials, production runs, factory specifications, manufacturing partners, or rider preference are not considered warranty issues and do not automatically qualify for additional exchanges, remakes, or refunds.

​

For the initial approved exchange, AOT Racing covers the cost of producing the replacement item only. Customers remain responsible for all return shipping costs and shipping charges associated with the replacement item.

​

Any additional exchanges approved beyond the initial complimentary exchange may be subject to applicable restocking fees, remake fees, and shipping charges.

​

Factory Defects – Remake Policy

If your item has a factory defect, you may request a remake of the same item within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify:

• Issue must be due to a manufacturing defect (seams, zippers, misprints, material flaws)

• Item must be unused and unwashed

• Provide:

  • Order number (proof of purchase)

  • Clear photos or short video showing the defect

Remakes are only issued for the original item ordered — no substitutions or refunds.

Wear & Tear / Non-Defect Damage

AOT Racing’s warranty covers factory defects only.

Damage resulting from normal use, including but not limited to snags, rips, tears, abrasions, or contact with external surfaces, is considered wear and tear and is not covered under warranty.

Items that have been damaged through use, riding conditions, crashes, or external contact cannot be replaced as a manufacturing issue.

​

That said, we are always happy to review any concerns. If you believe your item may have a defect, please submit clear photos or video along with your order number, and our team will evaluate the issue accordingly.

​

Sponsorship Orders

Sponsorship discounts and promotional codes are non-transferable and intended solely for the approved rider.

Abuse of sponsorship discounts, unauthorized code sharing, or misrepresentation of rider status may result in order cancellation, sponsorship termination, and/or refusal of future service.

​

Right to Refuse Service, Orders, Sponsorships, and Promotional Benefits

AOT Racing reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, revoke discounts, deactivate promotional codes, terminate sponsorships, deny sponsorship applications, or decline future business at any time, for any lawful reason, at AOT Racing's sole discretion.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Abuse or misuse of promotional offers, discount codes, sponsorship benefits, rider programs, giveaways, or special offers

• Sharing, transferring, selling, or unauthorized use of sponsorship codes, rider discounts, promotional codes, or benefits

• Harassment, threats, abusive behavior, inappropriate conduct, or disrespectful communication toward AOT Racing, its representatives, riders, customers, affiliates, or partners

• Fraudulent activity, chargebacks, suspected fraud, or attempts to circumvent AOT Racing policies

• Violations of AOT Racing policies, sponsorship agreements, promotional terms, or rider program requirements

• Misrepresentation of sponsorship status, discount eligibility, affiliations, partnerships, or rider credentials

• Conduct that AOT Racing believes is detrimental to the company, its customers, sponsored riders, reputation, business operations, or brand integrity

AOT Racing also reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund orders placed on behalf of, for the benefit of, or intended for individuals whose sponsorship, discount privileges, purchasing privileges, promotional benefits, or business relationship with AOT Racing has been revoked, terminated, suspended, restricted, or otherwise discontinued.

Orders determined to be purchased for individuals who have had sponsorship privileges revoked, have been removed from an AOT Racing program, have had promotional benefits terminated, or have otherwise been restricted from doing business with AOT Racing may be canceled and refunded at AOT Racing's sole discretion.

​

If an order is canceled prior to production, a full refund will be issued.

​

Orders containing customized, personalized, made-to-order, special-order, sponsorship, team, or production-started items will remain subject to AOT Racing's published refund, return, cancellation, and restocking policies.

​

Nothing contained within these policies shall be interpreted as creating an obligation for AOT Racing to provide products, services, sponsorships, discounts, promotional benefits, future business opportunities, or continued participation in any AOT Racing program.

​

All decisions made by AOT Racing regarding service, sponsorships, discounts, promotional benefits, rider programs, and future business relationships shall be final.

​

Order Cancellations

Cancellations must be requested within 3 business days of order placement.

After 3 business days, approved cancellations will incur a 20% cancellation/restocking fee to cover administrative costs, payment processing fees, design preparation, and production scheduling.

​

No cancellations will be accepted once:

• Production has started

• Artwork or customization work has begun

• A custom design has been created or approved

• The order has been submitted to the manufacturer

​

Custom, personalized, special-order, sponsorship, team, and made-to-order items are considered final once production or design work begins and are not eligible for cancellation.

AOT Racing reserves the right to approve or deny cancellation requests at its sole discretion

​

Shipping & Turnaround

Production time is typically 3–4 weeks, but may vary due to seasonality, order volume, material availability, factory schedules, and supplier delays.

​

Estimated production and delivery timeframes are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by AOT Racing prior to purchase.

​

AOT Racing is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to:

• Customs inspections or clearance delays

• Carrier delays (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.)

• Weather events or natural disasters

• International shipping disruptions

• Labor shortages or transportation issues

• Supplier or manufacturing delays

• Holidays and peak shipping seasons

Once an order has shipped, delivery timelines are the responsibility of the shipping carrier. Shipping costs are non-refundable due to carrier delays, customs holds, weather events, or other circumstances outside of AOT Racing's control.

Customers are encouraged to place orders well in advance of races, events, holidays, or other time-sensitive needs.
